Monday 22nd November:

#NAP – SARVI (1.00 Ayr) – Ran well the last day over 2m4f here when travelling powerfully throughout the race on the inside and looked to hold every chance approaching the last (jumped it almost upsides the leader) before weakening up the run-in, and this drop back to 2m is almost certain to suit Jim Goldie’s six-year-old, a trip in which he was beaten only a length on his penultimate outing at Musselburgh. Tom Midgley won on his only previous ride on this gelding, by seven-lengths over this trip on soft ground back in the summer and despite being on a 6lb higher mark I still think there’s more to come. If he runs to a similar level as the last twice then I’d be disappointed if he wasn’t competitive this afternoon. (6/1) – Unibet – 1pt 2nd (-1)

Stake: 1pt

November P/L: +1.55pts

Overall P/L (Sept ’17-present): +580.11pts
