#NAP – FOREVER WILLIAM (2.40 Nottingham) – Seven-raced maiden but this three-year-old has been improving on each start and might be ready to get his head in front now back up in trip to 2m. His only other attempt at this distance saw him beaten a length-and-a-half on the polytrack at Kempton and despite a 4lb higher mark his most recent effort over a slightly shorter trip at this course was very promising, staying-on late to be beaten half-a-length in third in a class 2 handicap. He’s dropped down into class 4 company and the soft ground should be fine, it’s a competitive enough looking race but hopefully this inmate of Alan King can get his head in front first.
