#NAP – GLINGER FLAME (3.30 Hexham) – This nine-year-old has a fine record at this course with form figures of 5-1-1-1-1 which has included a victory in this race last year off a 2lb higher mark, so he’s certainly handicapped to go very close especially if this has been the target again for connections. He’s a three-time winner over this middle distance of 2m4f and unfortunately the last day on his return from a short break he slipped up quite early on in proceedings there in a class 2 event, he’s down a grade here and I’d be hoping the gelding runs his race with conditions not an issue having won on good numerous times, as well as on softer surfaces if the rain they are forecast gets into the ground.
