#NAP – CORVAIR (2.55 Great Yarmouth) – Has yet to win on turf, with his three careers wins so far coming on the synthetics, firstly in a novice before two handicap wins off marks of 86 and 88. He runs off 4lb higher here which is the same mark in which he was beaten a nose off at Newmarket earlier in the season and he has since ran two credible races from a 2lb higher mark. He can be forgiven the last day as that run came over a mile, so the drop back in trip should suit and from this mark I think this four-year-old could play a big part here with conditions to suit and the trainer’s yard are in good form at present (28% strike-rate the past fortnight).
