Tuesday 17th August:
#IWAC – LITTLE TED (6.05 Carlisle) – His last success came at the end of June last year when rattling up a quick-fire double off marks 3lb and 8lb higher than he runs off here today, which is in fact this four-year-old’s lowest mark he has competed off. His form has tailed off somewhat this season hence why he’s now rated only 55, compared to this time last year when he was 12lb higher and still being competitive. If able to show anywhere near that form again then he is seriously well-handciapped and his best run this season so far came over C&D three starts back when finishing third in a higher grade. He now drops down into a class 6 where both his career wins have been in, the ground conditions will suit so hopefully if he can bounce back to form then he should be competitive. There are four places on offer for each-way terms with the majority of bookmakers. (9/1) – William Hill – 0.5pt ew (4 places) – 3rd (+1.4)
