Monday 9th August:

#NAP – DIGITAL (7.55 Ripon) – Ran a great race from the front at Glorious Goodwood in a class 2 when headed inside the final furlong but kept on well to finish third. This gelding takes a drop down a couple of grades and if able to dictate the pace then I think he should be going very close off the same mark as the last day. He was beaten a short-head on handicap debut back in May and is only on a 2lb higher mark here and you only have to go back to late summer last year when we saw him finish second (beaten half-a-length) by the now 110-rated Umm Kulthum, before beating 100-rated Significantly by just under a length, which is the best form on offer here and off a mark of 83 he’s surely capable of winning races off this rating, with these softer conditions in his favour.
