Wednesday 4th August:

#NAP – ZUMURUD (5.30 Pontefract) – This six-year-old ran well here the last day when not getting a clear run in a 0-90 handicap, finishing third in the end beaten one-and-a-half-lengths off this mark. He’s on a tempting mark of 74 having won off both 3lb & 5lb higher marks in the past, two of which coming on this good-to-firm ground, and this drop down into a 0-80 may well see the gelding return to winning ways. His draw in stall 9 isn’t ideal but if able to run to a similar level to last time then he should be going close here. (9/2) – William Hill – 1pt 2nd (-1)

Stake: 1pt

August P/L: -1pt

Overall P/L (Sept ’17-present): +579.31pts
