Sunday 13th June:

#NAP – HEADINGLEY (3.45 Doncaster) – Had shown a good level of form on his first four starts, with two wins and a couple of second-placed efforts. The two more recent of those came in the spring both on good-to-firm ground, his victory coming in a Redcar novice before running to a better level on handicap debut when beaten a length at Goodwood. The last day can be forgiven when completely tailed off in a class 2 as the ground was heavy that day, so back on a quick surface and down into a class 4 I think this three-year-old can resume his progress with him only 3lb above that close second two starts ago. (5/2) – Bet365 – 1pt

#NB – KINDRED SPIRIT (4.08 Salisbury) – This filly has been unlucky the last twice when on both occasions was denied a clear run when making her move, the first of those on the sytnetics at Lingfield when staying-on well up the rail before the door completely closed shut, she had to settle for last of six beaten two-and-a-half-lengths but with a better passage I think she may well have won the race and off the same mark here she looks of really interest if getting a true run. She’s shaped as though this extra furlong would suit with her sole win coming on heavy ground over 6f so she should have the stamina to see this trip out on quicker ground, and though this surface is an unknown I think she should be capable of handling it and the drop into class 5 will also aid her cause having contented class 3/4 handicaps so far and she was also deemed good enough to contest a listed event on her second career start last October. (4/1) – Bet365 – 1pt

Stake: 2pt

June P/L: -3pts

Overall P/L (Sept ’17-present): +585.31pts
