Friday 21st May:

#IWAC – WAKE UP HARRY (2.50 Goodwood) – This three-year-old tried to make all when upped in trip to 1m2f the last day in a competitive handicap at Newmarket before weakening just before the furlong pole and finished back in sixth of eight. The winner has won since and so has the third horse home so the form looks solid and from a 3lb lower mark here dropping back to a mile I think he’s slightly overlooked in the market. His first three starts all came over this mile trip where he was beaten a neck on debut before winning a Lingfield maiden by a couple of lengths. He was beaten a length over that same track and trip on his penultimate start so this is clearly a favourable trip for this colt and with Tom Marquand booked for the ride I could see him outrunning his current odds, three places are on offer for each-way terms bar one bookmaker who is offering four. (18/1) – Betfred – 0.5pt ew (3 places) Lost (-1)

Stake: 1pt

May P/L: +3.53pts

Overall P/L (Sept ’17-present): +591.31pts
