#NAP – ROOKIE TRAINER (6.50 Fontwell) – This gelding was travelling like the best horse when tried over 3m1f the last day at Plumpton before completely emptying and eventually was beaten 26-lengths in second so this drop back to 2m3f should suit much better and he was in fact a winner over C&D in a maiden hurdle back in October. He’s a pound lower than for both that last run and also when beaten only six-lengths in fourth on his penultimate start in a class 3 handicap at Wincanton, again when not completely seeing out a slightly longer trip. He has race conditions in his favour and Liam Harrison is a good booking for this race for conditionals, hopefully he can go well this evening. (9/2) – Bet365 – 1pt – WON (+4.83)
