Thursday 29th April:

#NAP – SPIRIT OF BERMUDA (3.50 Redcar) – This filly was deemed good enough to contest the Group 3 Solero Stakes at HQ in her two-year-old campaign and though beaten eight-lengths that still looks good form in this company. She was a good second on her handicap debut after that, beaten by a horse now rated 108 and she is 2lb lower for that now, running off a mark of 80. Her reappearance was a good run off a pound higher where she was denied a clear run up the rail before staying on but weakening only inside the final furlong and that should have blown away the cobwebs, so coming from the William Haggas yard who are bang in-form (34% strike-rate in the past fortnight) and who have a 25% strike-rate at this course, I think this daughter of Twilight Son is the one to beat if on top of her game. (10/3) – Bet365 – 1pt winVoid (+1)

Stake: 1pt

April P/L: +3.8pts

Overall P/L (Sept ’17-present): +587.78pts
