Sunday 25th April:
#NAP – VAPE (2.30 Salisbury) – This four-year-old was unlucky on seasonal reappearance when very slowly into stride before staying-on well through the line to go down by only a neck and off only a pound higher mark he must have a solid chance of gaining compensation if able to break on terms. Cameron Noble claims 3lb again and this looks a winnable race for this gelding, so hopefully he can take advantage here. (10/3) – William Hill – 1pt – Lost (-1)
#IWAC – ABEL HANDY (4.10 Wetherby) – Returned with a fair fourth on the all-weather at Chelmsford at the beginning of the month when beaten just over four-lengths on stable debut and the winner has gone in again since. He’s been eased a pound which puts him back on the same mark in which he won off last September at Ripon, he’s drawn well and in the hope that he’s come on for that first run for Liam Bailey then he looks overpriced with Danny Tudhope booked for the ride (6-2-1 on this horse, won on him in that Ripon race), each-way offering three places. (10/1) – Bet365 – 0.5pt ew (3 places) – Lost (-1)
