Wednesday 7th April:
#IWAC – KOOL MOE DEE (3.10 Nottingham) – Enjoyed a decent enough two-year-old campaign last year, he was fifth of 25 in a good race at Newbury (the winner Happy Romance now-rated 106), before winning twice (5f/6f) with one of those coming on nursery handicap debut off a 5lb lower mark on good-to-firm ground. He stayed-on from off the pace at Chester off a pound lower mark before finding the valuable two-year-old listed trophy a step too far at Redcar where the soft ground may have been an inconvenience too. He’s been gelded over the winter and this quicker ground will suit so hopefully he can step forward in this second season and if so then he looks overpriced off a mark of 82 with Thore Hammer Hansen claiming 3lb. (11/1) – Sky Bet – 0.5pt ew – Lost (-1)
