Wednesday 17th February:

#NB – GOOD BOY BOBBY (2.40 Wetherby) – Returns to hurdling after racing over fences the past 16 months, he’s shown some really nice form in that sphere including beating Mister Fisher in a novice chase at Cheltenham at the back end of 2019. He was fourth in the Grade 3 Caspian Caviar at that same course before finishing fifth in a handicap chase at Ascot the last day. He’s 3/4 over hurdles and boasts a perfect 2/2 at this course (bumper & chase wins) and this mark of 142 makes him well treated on some of those pieces of form, this trip and ground seem to be to his liking so if showing anywhere near his best back over timber he’s got to have a chance in this competitive handicap. (11/2) – Bet365 – 1ptLost (-1)

#NAP – FRISCO BAY (4.35 Hereford) – Has been placed in three of his four handicap starts (all this season) and has been left on the same mark as the last day when beaten two-and-a-half lengths in third in this grade at Fakenham. Prior to that he was second in a class 4 with the winner coming out and winning since so the form has substance and with Kevin Brogan booked claiming is more than valuable 5lb claim, as well as the addition of first-time cheekpieces, this six-year old of Jonjo O’Neill might be the answer to this open looking handicap. (9/2) – Bet365 – 1pt – 2nd (-1)

Stake: 2pts

February P/L: +0.2pts

Overall P/L (Sept ’17-present): +573.15pts
