#NAP – NOTRE PARI (2.50 Plumpton) – This JP McManus-owned seven-year old is making his fourth start over fences here and though not successful in this sphere yet he was a fair fifth in a good Aintree handicap back in November off 4lb higher and now takes a step back up in trip after underperforming over the extended 2m the last day at Doncaster when never really put in the race. Last season over timber he was twice a winner (2m3f/2m4f) and was running a big race in the Lanzarote hurdle (2m5f) when falling at the last (off 1lb lower), again suggesting that this step back up in trip will suit.
