Wednesday 3rd February:
#NAP – BLACKO (4.40 Warwick) – Won two juvenile hurdles (both on soft) last winter on his first two starts in Britain beating a now rated 138 horse, having arrived at Alan King’s from France. He was pulled-up in the Fred Winter at the festival and so far this season has finished fifth on both starts tackling handicaps for the first time (both on good ground). The first of those came in a race with some substance to the form at Chepstow and he’s now been eased 3lb, he’s had his wind done since then which could get him back on track and possibly the ground will suit him better here as both wins have come on soft. (4/1) – William Hill – 1pt – Lost (-1)
Stake: 1pt
