#NAP – THE KING OF MAY (2.05 Wetherby) – Ended last campaign with a novice handicap chase win off 2lb lower at Sedgefield and both runs this season have suggested that he’s more than capable of going in again. He was second on return at Newbury behind Zanza who was travelling strongly in a good Cheltenham handicap next time before coming to grief and the last day saw him beaten only three-quarters-of-a-length on heavy ground over C&D when reportedly losing a shoe (caught close home). He’s able to run off the same mark and a similar performance would see him go close. (11/2) – Bet365 – 1pt – 2nd (-1)
