A 3/1 #NAP winner to end the week and we’re now entering the final day of what’s been an up and down month but again will; end in profit nonetheless. It’s also the final day of me posting on the BetShare site before my new challenge, let’s hope I can go out with a bang. Good luck if following!

Monday 30th April:

#NAP – BACACARAT (3.30 Thirsk) – Disappointed on debut but two runs since have been much better. The latest was over seven furlongs a fortnight ago when beaten just over two lengths. Back up to the mile trip here where he posted a good fourth and the form of that race has worked out well with two ahead of him now rated 85/87. (15/8) – William Hill – 5pt – 2nd (-5)

#NB – ARGUS (7.10 Windsor) – This six-year old has a couple of distance wins to his name (one of which came at this track) and he was a decent third on most recent outing at Kempton over a couple of furlongs further. The going won’t be an issue as he’s quite versatile in that department and the booking of Oisin Murphy is quite interesting. Only front-runner in the field and if handed an easy lead easy take some pegging if providing a strong gallop as he stays further than this. (8/1) – William Hill – 3pt – Lost (-3)

#IWAC – PENNSYLVANIA DUTCH (4.05 Thirsk) – Won first two career starts over this six-furlong trip when with William Haggas and now has switched yards to Kevin Ryan. Stable debut was a decent effort after a break but was below that form the last day at Ripon. A chance is taken now he’s been dropped a couple of pounds as he’s now able to run off a pound lower than when successful on handicap debut at Haydock last June. Second run since a wind operation. (14/1) – Ladbrokes – 2pt – 3rd (-2)

Stake: 10pts

April P/L: +35.5pts (End April: +25.5pts)

Overall P/L (Sept ’17-present): +381.2pts
