A nice drift from 9/4 to 7/2 on Sunday’s #Nap gave us two profitable weekend days and it’s now time to continue that into the new working week and the last one of the month. Here are my three for Monday, reasoning for selections will be frequent now as my all-weather previews at Sporting Life has ended. Good luck if following.

Monday 26th March:

#NAP – CLONDAW WESTIE (3.05 Huntingdon) – He’s won both completed chase starts with the other when unseating before the race got interesting. Jumped very well at Fontwell nine days ago and a 7lb rise is manageable for this lightly raced seven-year old. Unbeaten at this trip and Aidan Coleman, back on board, can steer this progressive chaser to another victory. (8/1) – William Hill – 5pt – WON (+45)

#NB – CAP DU NORD (3.55 Taunton) – Won on penultimate start at Sandown in a similar race to this before going well in conditions that wouldn’t have suited in a higher grade when third back in December. This is the five-year old’s first run since off a 1lb lower mark and Denis O’Regan is back in the saddle (was on board at Sandown) and should be right there if ready after his break in better ground. (11/4) – William Hill – 3pt – Lost (-3)

#IWAC – THEATRICAL STAR (4.30 Taunton) – Chased home the subsequent Midlands National winner over course and distance the last day in heavy ground and this is a slightly easier assignment. He’s a course winner who has done most his winning in this grade and this veteran should go well despite not winning sine 2014 for which he’s now competing off a 9lb lower mark and the addition of the champ Dickie Johnson in the saddle can see him run a big race for a trainer bang in form (also runs the favourite). (11/2) – Ladbrokes – 2pt – Lost (-2)

Stake: 10pts

P/L: +55.3pts
