A frustrating start to the week with the #NB being nabbed on the line after looking the winner from 2f out. Both the other two ran respectably finishing third but there was no return unfortunately. Tricky time of year with the end of the flat & start of jumps season on the horizon but the winners are still there. Here are my three for Tuesday.

Tuesday 26th September:

#NAP – BARNABY BROOK (5.45 Lingfield) – This seven-year old gelding has shown his disliking for turf but performs admirably on the all-weather (four wins & four places from ten starts). He arrives here off the back of a victory at Wolverhampton in a higher grade and is sure to remain competitive off just a 4lb higher mark. (5/1) – Betfred – 5pt – Lost

#NB – LOST LEGEND (4.35 Warwick) – There are a few closely matched on previous runs in this, Lost Legend being one, but Jonjo O’Neill’s ten-year old seems to be running back into some form with a first and second over the summer in similar contests to today’s. Having once been rated 145, he’s now 19lbs below his last winning mark and if he’s too continue his latest revival he should run a big race. Won’t mind any give in the ground. (9/2) – Ladbrokes – 3pt – Lost

#IWAC – FACT OF THE MATTER (3.30 Warwick) – Has won four of his eight chase starts and is looking to double up after a game success in a class 2 event at Cartmel latest, where the front two pulled well clear of the rest. He’s be raised 6lbs but drops in grade and conditions are to suit, could have a say in this. (13/2) – Bet365 – 1pt ew – Placed

Stake: 10pts

P/L: +60.7pts
