Good to get our first NAP winner of the month yesterday, Black Caesar, winning very comfortably by 6 lengths eased down. The quality of racing again not the greatest for Tuesday but we’ll do our very best.
Tuesday 5th September:
#NAP – AURORA GRAY (3.50 Goodwood) – This filly has been a model of consistency since mid-December, racking up an all-weather hat-trick before posting four good placed efforts this summer. She is 3/3 over this distance of 2m and ran a great race over an extended 2m4f at the Goodwood festival last month. Should handle conditions and a positive jockey booking in Jim Crowley. (9/4) – Bet365 – 5pt – Lost
#NB – SIEGE OF BOSTON (8.20 Kempton) – Got up late to win last week at Chelmsford and carries a 6lb penalty in this but has been running well of late. He has won both previous starts on polytrack and has been given a nice low draw. (7/2) – Paddy Power – 3pt – WON
#IWAC – CHAMPAGNE CHASER (4.00 Hexham) – Has a lay-off to overcome after a moderate effort back in February but this looks a slightly weaker race than previous couple of runs. Has gone well fresh before and the forecast rain is a major plus with all good efforts coming with some cut in the ground. Richard Johnson in the saddle is only going to aid his cause. Taking a chance on the rain coming but would have each-way claims or better if it does. (13/2) – Betfair – 1pt ew – WON (10/1 SP)
